ENTREPRENEURIAL LMIA PROGRAM DETAILS
Initially the idea was labeled as Federal Entrepreneur Program, which later was terminated by the Government with the assumption that it will not return any time sooner. This program implied that eligible applicants and their immediate families will be granted Canadian permanent residence for managing and establishing or acquiring at least 33.33% of equity within an eligible Canadian business that creates a minimum of one new job within the economy.
The termination of this idea leads to the creation of a new concept of the entrepreneurship programs in shape of Federal Startup Visa, Quebec Entrepreneur Program and Provincial Nominee Programs for Entrepreneurs. The core idea behind all these programs is the same, i.e. Canada is helping the entrepreneurs grow their business in Canada, while the entrepreneurs help the economy with new job opportunities.
- Addition of new values to a running business.
- New profitable environment.
- Creation of Job opportunities for native Canadians.
